• Calcium carbonate: pit and fissure sealant, removes superficial stains. • Sodium bicarbonate: pit and fissure sealant, removes superficial stains. • Glycine: removes biofilm from the implant surface.
• Does not take up space. • Easy to use. • Does not stain. • Patients adapt well to it. • Various abrasives available.
• The cost of disposable tips may increase. • If the air pressure is set too high, the tip may explode.
